Episode Two - The Menstruation Of Hannah

On the exciting second episode of The River Basil Show, River Basil is joined by his very good friend local comedian and all round nice gal Hannah! They sit and discuss (whilst naked) the follies of life.

I first met Hannah at an alternative arts festival, the This Is Not Art festival, in 2007, when we were both rather inebriated after consuming heavy amounts of alcoholic ginger beer. We then proceeded to stumble into a Chinese noodle shop and discuss comedy. The rest is history.

Recorded live on location at the Newcastle University Students Association (NUSA) building, occasionally roaming off into different rooms, the most exciting of which is the kitchenette and the foreign exchange student we encounter there. We manage to avert certain death via metallic implement inserted into toaster - to find out what happened be sure to listen!

University Of Newcastle

Part of our lovely university - a mixture of bushland & buildings, often difficult to disambiguate between a university and a German WWII Fort. Ironically this building is one of our libraries, known as “Auchmuty”…
